Carpe Diem #446, Beach

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Let's go on with our modern kigo of spring adventure based on Jane Reichhold's "A Dictionary of Haiku" and today that kigo is beach. Jane gave the next examples:

beach diamonds
a new day crystallized
in sunny surf foam

morning
especially high on the beach
sleeper waves
(c) Jane Reichhold

And now it's up to us to write a haiku inspired on this prompt ... here is my attempt:

spring beach
children seeking shells -
thundering ground swell

(c) Chèvrefeuille

spring beach

This episode is open for your submissions tonight at 7.00 PM (CET) and will remain open until April 15th 11.59 AM (CET). I will post our new episode. Heat Shimmer, later on today. For now have fun, be inspired and share your haiku, senryu with us all.

Namaste
